TTG are running a club spin session at Fitness First, Cheltenham. The session is going to be hard, hot, fun and social. Jane Cetinel, an excellent local coach will be taking the session which will last an hour.
Everyone can benefit from the spinning program. And because you can go at your own pace by controlling the resistance on your spinner bike, taking spinning classes is a great way to stay fit and retain some of that summer bike fitness. During the winter months the weather, daylight or lack of may restrict some from biking outdoors. Spinning classes are designed as an indoor alternative and can provide many fitness benefits. Spinning classes can increase energy, cardiovascular fitness and lower body strength. Depending on how fast you pedal and the amount of resistance you have on the bike, your heart and lungs will benefit, as well as your gluteus maximus, hamstrings and quadriceps. Spinning classes will also help you burn fat and calories.
Will we run the session during October for an initial four weeks to gauge popularity, if successful we will continue the sessions in monthly blocks through to March when the clocks go forward again.
As the spin room only has 25 bikes, this is strictly on a first come, first served basis. A four-week block will cost £12 (£3 per session) for members and £16 (£4 per session) for non-members. A five-week block will cost £15 (£3 per session) and £20 (£4 per session) for non-members. All you have to do is pay below, hey presto, your block is assured.

Parking: 2 hours free parking in the NCP car park opposite The Brewery, tickets to be stamped inside the gym for free parking
Season: Triathlon specific spin class
The session is also perfectly situated for a recovery ale afterwards!!!
